Hiroyuki Murase, a fifth-generation Shibori artisan, moved to Europe at the age of 20 to study fine art. After realizing the value of his Japanese hometown’s handicraft, he founded the brand SUZUSAN in 2008. SUZUSAN blends traditional Shibori techniques with high-quality materials like hand-woven cashmere and baby alpaca. His contemporary fusion of hand-dyed colors and materials breathes new life into the century-old tradition.
