Taka Studio is an investigative design house based between Los Angeles and Peru, drawing from the dual traditions of West Coast minimalism and Latin material culture. Their ethos is simple: to speak to the needs of today. Working at the intersection of traditional craft and experimentation, Taka creates a visual language shaped by the moment and driven by modern utilitarian needs for movement, freedom and space. Taka weaves sensibilities from northern and southern hemispheres, developing new approaches within heritage making systems while retaining valuable textile knowledge for the future. All objects are designed to be exclusive in nature, carried out with artisan families and independent ateliers. Every artifact is both minimal yet rich in character, designed to improve with age and expand in presence over time.
